Free Contractor Readiness Workshop to be held April 18th in Pearl,MS

Jackson, Miss. (March 28, 2019) – Contractors interested in becoming licensed or obtaining their Certificate of Responsibility are encouraged to register for the Mississippi Development Authority’s Contractor Licensure Readiness Workshop. The workshop will be held Thursday, April 18, from 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the Associated Builders and Contractors building located at 5165 Old Brandon Road in Pearl.

The workshop will focus primarily on contract reading and comprehension and on-the-job safety, and it will position participants to secure government contracts. The workshop also will provide participants with information regarding upcoming workshops that will focus on the contractor licensure application and testing process and how to obtain a Certificate of Responsibility.

The Contractor Readiness Workshop is sponsored by the Mississippi Development Authority and Associated Builders and Contractors of Mississippi.
