Jackson, Miss. – Improving operations and increasing capacity will be the focus of the Mississippi Development Authority’s Business Development Workshop series. The workshops begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 24 at the Yazoo Community Center located at 516 Canal Street in Yazoo City, Miss.
The workshop series is designed to teach businesses, particularly small and/or new businesses, the practices needed to improve operations and increase capacity. The six-week workshop series is free of charge. Participants must enroll or already be enrolled in the Mississippi Contractor Procurement Network system (www.mscpc.com) to attend. Each company’s representative must attend all of the sessions in order to successfully complete the program.
The workshops will be held on Thursday evenings, beginning March 24 and concluding April 28. Each class will be held from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. The program schedule follows:
