NATIONAL CRAFT ASSESSMENT AND CERTIFICATION PROCESS
(For Experienced Workers with 4-Plus Years in the Trade)
Assessments are offered at no cost to those impacted by Katrina who resided in a Katrina impact area on August 29, 2005 and whose employment was affected. Participants must be 18 years of age or older, a citizen of the U.S., and registered with Selective Service. Additional financial and personal information will be requested at first class.

The National Craft Assessment and Certification process (NCACP) was
developed to assess the competence level of experienced workers who
have no formal documentation of their training. The benefits are:
• Evaluates journey-level knowledge and skills of experienced craft technicians
• Increases workforce professionalism
• Provides a training prescription to all craftspeople that are assessed
• Meets national recognized standards
