Course Description
This outreach effort, aimed at promoting workplace safety and health, teaches occupational safety and health standards in the construction industry. Each student receives a comprehensive reference manual and as course completion card from the U. S. Department of Labor OSHA Training Institute. The course is a comprehensive safety program designed for anyone involved in the construction industry. Specifically devised for safety directors, foremen, and field supervisors, the program provides complete information on OSHA compliance issues.

*This training is offered at no cost to individuals who meet all of the following criteria:
18 years of age or older Citizen of the U.S.
Registered with Selective Service, if male and born after December 31, 1959 (www.sss.gov)
Resided on the Mississippi Gulf Coast or a Katrina impact area on August 29, 2005
Employment was affected by Hurricane Katrina
