Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Round 1 & 2
As stated in the conditional award letter for Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG), all applications are pending clearance from the Mississippi Department of Archives and History under the National Historic Preservation Act. With this stated, this program will move forward with a MANDATORY orientation workshop for all conditional awardees.
For conditional awardees in the Jackson area, the MANDATORY orientation workshop will be held in Jackson at the E.T. Woolfolk Building, 501 North West Street, Jackson, MS 39205 on Monday, August 30,2010 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Room 145 E. A sub-recipient manual will be provided at the workshop, which will provide detailed information regarding the use of Recovery Act funds, including state procurement guidelines, requests for payment, reporting requirements, and additional federal and state regulations. (Please find a tentative agenda attached.)
The Project Contact listed in the EECBG Application should plan to attend and may bring one additional individual from the city/county, if desired. In addition, please ensure that the individual who will serve as Grant Administrator attends. We ask that no more than three total individuals attend per city/county. Please provide me with the names of the individuals who will be attending the orientation workshop as soon as possible.
