Project Description:
Skanska USA, the General Contractor, has been awarded the Construction Management contract for the renovation of the existing McCoy Federal Building in Jackson Mississippi. The project also includes new construction and modifications to the building envelope. The project includes relocating, restacking, moving and renovation of over 30 tenant spaces and complete renovation of the lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and all common and public spaces. Complete renovation and upgrading of all MEP systems is included. A major new entry/security lobby is also being added to the exterior of the existing building. The scope of the project includes approximately 428,000 square feet and all 16 floors of the existing building.
